Grand S Hotel

The room was clean. I stayed in summer. There was only blanket on the bed and room was cold because of air conditioning. After I called front to ask for giving me more blanket,he gave me 2 blankets.

This hotel is located on a highway where there are many restaurants and cafés around the hotel The receptionists were very friendly and gave us a big room, the breakfast was very good, to use the pool you have to have a swimming cap, otherwise you have to pay 3 dollars for each cap which upset us because before we left They did not inform us about the pool, the pool was not very clean and the pool water was cold. It is a 10-minute walk to the metro station, in whole we had a good stay

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the Grand S Hotel in Istanbul, thanks to Mahmoud at the reception. He was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the check-in process. Mahmoud's professionalism and warm demeanor made me feel right at home. His excellent service truly enhanced my stay, and I highly recommend the hotel, especially because of staff members like him who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. I would like to note the level of service of the hotel staff. Of course the rooms are kept clean. Good breakfast and other conditions that a hotel of this level should meet. But first of all, we really liked the manager at the reception desk, Mr. Turgut. This is a person who not only provides a high level of service. Which is his job. However. he has good knowledge not only of interesting places in Istanbul or the nature of Turkey. He also has a serious understanding of politics. I had the pleasure of discussing the work of his namesake, President of Turkey, Mr. Turgut Ozal, in the 1980s. During this period, I worked at the Iskenderun Metallurgical Plant in the representative office of the Russian association Tyazhpromexport. Now I will recommend this hotel to everyone, especially for Russian travelers, since the central Bayrampasa bus station is nearby, from which buses go to Bulgaria, where they have their apartments.
